WHAT IS THE PROPER BURNING METHOD FOR AUTUMN & AURA CANDLES?

The first time you burn your candle, be sure that the melt pool reaches the candle's edges before extinguishing - otherwise, your candle will not burn evenly the next time you light it. The "Melt pool" means the wax has been heated long enough to reach the container's edge. The best burn time for our candles is in 3-4 hour increments. Please trim your wick to 1/4" before each lighting. Be sure to keep your candle away from children, pets, and any drafts. Please be careful when you touch your candles while they're lit, they are very hot!

WHY IS MY CANDLE FROSTING OR BLOCHY?

Our home fragrances are handmade in small batches and are 100% natural. They may have minor variations batch to batch (i.e. slight changes in color). If you see what appears to be a "gap" between the wax and the glass or white speckling on the edge of the candle, you're seeing what we call "spotting" or "frosting". Frosting may occur in your candles, which happens naturally in soy candles, and there's no sure way of preventing it. Candle Frosting is a white crystallization that forms on the wax, but it will not affect the scent throw or burning of your candle.

HOW FRAGRANT ARE THE CANDLES?

Autumn & Aura candles use the maximum fragrance allowed in soy wax. Our 8.5 oz candles are best used in smaller spaces, such as a kitchen, bedroom, or dining room (somewhere not as open). Our 15 oz 3-Wick candles are best for larger and open spaces (i.e., living room, basement, etc.).
